Sarah has an MFA in Illustration from Washington University's IVC program and a BFA in illustration from Brigham Young University. She currently works as an interior designer and artist in St. George, Utah
Sarah considers herself a folk artist-- working in a variety of media and across industries to reinvent American imagery and folklore through contemporary stories. Through the iconography of her own heritage, which reflects the Christianity of antiquity and folk symbols of the Western U.S.A. These influences also inform Sarah's approach to physical spaces. Sarah believes our homes are the reflection of ourselves and our spaces shape us just as we shape them. She believes in filling homes with heirloom pieces, both contemporary and antique, as a way to make tangible the stories we inherit and those we live. All images are subject to copyright.
